Cleaning tips

Cleaning the Microwave

Cleaning a microwave is easy. Fill up a cup of water and put it in there on high for a few minutes. The steam from the cup will loosen any stuck-on food, and then you can just wipe it away. It’s that simple.

Cleaning the Fridge

A fridge looks big and cleaning it looks even bigger. First toss out any bad food. Then start with wiping down the top shelves and work down. Baking soda and water make a great cleaner and won’t leave your fridge smelling like harsh cleanser. After you wipe out the crispers, line them with paper towels for easier cleaning next time. Cleaning the fridge was never this easy.

Toilet Hygiene

One of the most hated things to do but fortuitously, it can be done very fast if you follow the way I do, few steps to follow to get it done quickly. First pour some cleaner in the bowl to soak. Then wipe down the seat and outside of the bowl with an antibacterial wipe or spray cleaner. After that scrub the bowl with a toilet brush and finally wipe down everything again with a dry cloth to make it shine.

Clean Fan Blades With A Pillow Case

Use one to slide onto the blades of your ceiling fans, and then wipe the blades off inside the case. No more dust in your face! So quick and easy, too.

Squeegee Hair Picker Upper

Turns out your squeegee has a brilliant use other than getting your windows squeaky clean. Use one as a quick and easy way to wipe pet hair off of your carpets and rugs.

Removing Hard Water

I think most of us have a problem with hard water, even if just a little bit. It seems almost impossible to get off, too! I have bought those smelly abrasive cleaning products that promise to get rid of it, but even that doesn’t help entirely. You’d be surprised that vinegar will eat it away; you probably already have a bottle of it in your kitchen.

Fix Scratches On Wood

The easy way! just mix about 1/2 cup vinegar with 1/2 cup of olive oil, take kitchen cloth and just dipp it in and rubbed it on your scratched furniture. Keep going until it is gone.

Cleaning A Shower Head Hard Water Stains

To clean your shower head, pour distilled white vinegar in a plastic bag and secure it to the shower head with a rubber band. Let it soak for 1 hour. Wipe clean with a wet cloth. Easy fix for a clogged shower head!

Permanent Marker Removal

Put a dab of white toothpaste on the marker stain.

Then rub it with a damp cloth or paper towel.

Cleaning Air Vents

Don’t unscrew it and take it off! No need.

Grab a butter knife and a rag to easily get in between each little crevice.

Magical Carpet Cleaner

1. Scrape up the liquid or stains.

2. Sprinkle baking soda on stain and let it absorb for 10 minutes and then vacuum.
3. Mix one tablespoon clear dishwashing liquid and one tablespoon white vinegar with two cups of warm water.

4. Using a microfiber cloth, sponge the stain with the detergent/vinegar solution and blot until all the liquid is absorbed.
5. Sponge off with cold water and leave it to dry.

Cleaning Smelly Hands

There is nothing worse when you wash your hands and you can't get rid of smell.

Toothpaste will get rid of smell on your hands.

Just wash it with toothpaste like you would wash it with liquid soap.
